Vikings running back Adrian Peterson helped give some local children.the gift of hearing Monday.
He met the kids at the Starkey Hearing Foundation in Eden Prairie as they were fitted with their new hearing aids.
The 15 kids are from the Waconia area. Peterson was supposed to meet the kids at a fundraiser on Lake Waconia, but bad ice conditions pushed that event back to next month.
Money raised will help the Starkey Foundation and Peterson's All Day Foundation.
